A One Loft Race is a pigeon racing event where all the pigeons are raised, trained, and released from the same loft, and then race back to that one loft: 

• Training - Pigeons are raised and trained together from the age of 35-45 days old. 

• Races - A series of races take place over the season, with each race being longer than the last. The final race is usually around 300 miles. 

• Release - All pigeons from that one loft are transported to the same location and released at the same time. 

• Winning - The first pigeon to pass over the electronic sensors at the entrance to the loft wins. 

• Purpose - The goal is to identify the best individual race bird, from different breeders when trained and raced under the same conditions to the same location.

We breed from our stock pairs and enter their offspring in to One Loft Races. Then deliver these bred pigeons to the race organisers loft when they are 35-45 days old during their fixed intake dates.

We then make available our entries in these One Loft Race as syndicates.

Each syndicate has a fixed number of shares available depending on the costs to enter them in that One Loft Race. This includes the breeding, delivery and entry fee costs per bird in that syndicate.

The One Loft Race has prize money for the best performing pigeons in each race and their averages combined over all races.

At the end of the One Loft Race series the birds are sold at auction.

Any prize money won and received from auctioning the syndicate birds is then shared out equally per syndicate share.
